Live Draft Setup Help

Make preparations for your league's player draft by clicking on League Draft from the Commissioner's Main Menu.

The initial step in setting up your draft is to click on Create a New Draft.

Draft Info will then be set to defaults including the current date and time and number of selection rounds. These values can all be modified according to your wishes. Simply enter the correct information and then click on Update Draft Info Your correct draft information should now appear on the screen.

Next, set the initial draft order by choosing the team from the drop down menu next to Add Pick. Then click on Add Team Pick

That team should now appear as having the first pick in the round. In this case the Gladiators will choose first. Continue to add teams in the desired order until Round 1 is finished. (Hint: The picking order is saved each time you click on Add Team Pick. If you make a mistake, adjust using the drop down menu next to each team and then click Update Order Changes)

In the example below, the order of selection for Round 1 has now been set.

You now have the option of setting the order of selection for the entire draft.

If you simply want the order of Round 2 to be the reverse of Round 1 and will continue that method throughout the remaining rounds, select Create Snake Order next to the Entire Draft menu. Then click Set Draft Order Once the page refreshes, the selection order has been set for all rounds of the draft.

You also have the option of modifying the selection order of each round of the draft. If, for example, you want Round 4 to have the same order as Round 1, select 4 from the drop down menu next to Select Round and then 1 from the menu next to Copy Order Form. The order for Round 4 is set once the page refreshes.

Continue the draft setup until the selection order for all rounds has been created.

When you're finished with the draft set up, click League Home from the Main Menu. A hyperlink will appear on the homepage announcing the draft date and time 30 minutes prior to the start of your league's draft.

When you're finished with your online draft, once again click on League Draft from the Main Menu. Then click on Draft is Complete to indicate that your online draft has concluded and subsequently remove the hyperlink from the homepage.
